Around 65% of children in school today will work in jobs that do not exist yet. That single figure is what Vertura was built around.

It does not mean school stops mattering — it means knowing a subject and being able to use it in a world that keeps changing shape are two different abilities, and only one of them is being taught.

A child can top a class and still be unable to hold a room, structure an argument they haven't rehearsed, keep a commitment nobody is checking, or decide what to do when the syllabus runs out. Those are trainable. They just aren't on any timetable.

Vertura teaches them the way they are actually used: through work the student produces, defends and revises. Every session ends with something the child made and can keep.

Mental models, first-principles reasoning, and recognising the biases running underneath your own conclusions.

Habit systems and deep work that hold when motivation is gone and nobody is supervising.

Eighteen months across five levels, moving a child from how to think, through how to perform and how to lead a room, to building and defending something real in front of practising professionals.

A lab, not a course. Students don't just learn about AI — they think, research, create, build and solve with it, and the four weeks end in a showcase where they present what they made.

Grades 6–9, inside the timetable.

Schools bring Vertura in to run six skill verticals as part of the school week — not as an optional add-on parents have to enroll their child into separately. The school chooses which verticals run for which grade.

A student never leaves with only notes. Each session ends in a tangible output — a worksheet, a recording, a plan, a built thing — that goes home with them.

The concept is introduced in plain language, with an example from a situation a 10–16 year old actually recognises.

The student uses it immediately on a live problem, working alone or against the rest of the room.

They produce something or teach the idea back. If they cannot explain it, they have not learnt it yet.

Reflect

They review what they did, what it cost them, and what they would change next time. That review is recorded.

The Vertura Academy

Cohorts are capped at 20 and mentored at 20:1.

The Growth Index scores six measured dimensions — cognitive growth, discipline consistency, communication development, leadership behaviour, project quality, and the mentor's own observations — and goes to parents, or to the partner school, each quarter. It replaces the certificate that every programme hands out and that tells you nothing.

Clarity of thought

A confident answer that cannot be explained is worth nothing here. Students are asked to show the reasoning, not the conclusion.

Execution over ideation

Ideas are cheap and children are full of them. Marks here come from what got finished, tested and shown to someone outside the room.

Rise through discipline

Nothing in the programme rewards talent that doesn't show up. The habit systems are taught first because everything else depends on them.

The person behind it.

Sneh Shah founded The Vertura Academy after turning down a full-time offer that came with a promotion guaranteed inside nine months.

He had already done three internships — data science, AI and data science, and business analysis — and the same thing kept showing up. The technical skill was the part you could learn free, online, in a month. What separated people was whether they could think clearly under pressure, hold a room, and finish what they started. None of that had been taught to any of them.

So he built the thing he wished had existed at twelve: a system that trains the practical and people skills a career actually runs on, and that adapts as the work changes, rather than one more programme drilling theory for marks.

Questions parents and principals ask first.

Does this replace school?

No, and it is not designed to. Vertura covers no syllabus, sets no academic homework and gives no exam coaching. It runs on weekends or online precisely so it sits alongside school. In partner schools it runs inside the timetable, agreed with the school, and still doesn't touch subject teaching.

How do the three programmes relate to each other?

They are built from the same six capabilities, run the same four-step session method and are measured by the same Growth Index. What changes is the age, the depth and the route in. The Foundation Programme is the full eighteen-month build in person. AI Labs is a shorter, online, outcome-specific lab inside one field. Vertura for Schools puts the capabilities into a school's own week for whole grades.

Which one fits my child?

If your child is 10 to 14 and you want the full build, the Foundation Programme. If they are 13 to 16 and the pull is AI specifically, or you want to see how they respond before committing to eighteen months, AI Labs. If you are a school leader rather than a parent, the school track. If you're unsure, say so in the enquiry — the admission conversation exists partly to answer this.

What does my child actually come home with?

Something physical or recorded from every single session — a worksheet they completed, a recording of them speaking, a plan they wrote, a prototype they built. By the end of the Foundation Programme that includes a project built, tested with real users and presented to a jury of practising professionals.

How is progress measured, and how will I know it's real?

Through the Vertura Growth Index: a quarterly scored assessment across the six capabilities, based on what the student produced rather than on a test day. You get the specific movement per capability, not a participation certificate.

How does selection work?

You enquire, and we set up a twenty-minute conversation with the student — not with you, and not a written exam. We ask three things: what are you good at that your report card has never measured, what do you want to be known for, and where do you feel most stuck right now. It is there to check readiness and real motivation, not ability. Seats are confirmed after that conversation, and cohorts close at 20.
